Vets Now Worthing is a Vets Now out-of-hours emergency and critical care clinic (opened in 2021) that operates from within Grove Lodge Vets, and is listed as an RCVS accredited Small Animal Emergency Service Clinic (ESC). The clinic is set up for urgent cases in dogs, cats and small animals, with on-site equipment including X‑ray, ultrasound, ECG, an in-house lab and an isolation unit. The website states emergency cases can be seen without an appointment; recent reviews reflect both sides of that experience—some owners describe being seen quickly and getting effective treatment (for example, an injection after an exam with improvement by the next morning), while others report serious concerns about care, including one account of being given opioids instead of antibiotics and another alleging major failings after surgery.

I had quite a traumatic experience with my baby girl and Kim helped me through every step, I wouldn’t of been able to cope without her and the staff being so incredible

Shocking level of 'care'. Refer to written complaint we are waiting a response on.

0 STARS!!!!!! Complete and utter failings made by this veterinary surgery along with the PDSA who essentially left my dog to bleed to death post surgery

Excellent service and very efficient. Our puppy was poorly and the vet gave him a thorough examination and a diagnosis followed by an injection and the next morning puppy had started to feel better. I think it's an expensive service and would have given 5 star rating if the cost was less

Instantly got an appointment which I was grateful for, however, we were there for no more than 15min and came out £500 worse off. They were reluctant to give us antibiotics which is what our dog needed. Went to our vets the next day and they issued them straight away. Instead he was given opioids which lasted 24hrs and was horrible to watch and wasn’t needed. Overall, not impressed.
